Description
CAN Converter PQ → MQB
The CAN Converter PQ-MQB is designed specifically for engine swaps using VAG PQ-based engines in MQB-platform cars. Because the PQ and MQB platforms use completely different CAN bus protocols, they cannot communicate with each other at all. Without a solution, this results in non-working clusters, missing signals, and loss of key vehicle functions.
This module bridges that gap by translating signals between PQ and MQB, restoring essential systems such as RPM on the cluster, coolant and oil temperature, MIL and EPC lights, and fault code communication.
With the converter installed, essential systems such as cluster RPM, coolant temperature, MIL light, and fault code communication will function again as intended.
Support for DSG integration ensures proper gear display, shiftlock, and status signals when combining PQ engines with DSG gearboxes in MQB chassis.
It is ideal for engine swaps such as:
- R32 or R36 engines into Golf 7 / MQB chassis cars
- PQ engines in Audi A3 8V / 8P, Seat Leon 5F, Skoda Octavia MQB
