Project Description
Corrado TFSI 2.0L AXX Wiring Harness
Project Overview
A full custom wiring solution developed for integrating a 2.0L TFSI AXX engine into a Volkswagen Corrado. This project focused on achieving OEM-level integration while bridging the gap between modern CAN-based engine management and the Corrado’s CE2 electrical system.
Project Goals
- Seamless integration of 2.0L TFSI AXX engine
- Plug & play connection to Corrado CE2 fusebox
- Full OEM ECU functionality retained
- Reliable CAN-to-analog signal conversion
Key Features
CE2 Fusebox Integration (Plug & Play)
The harness is designed to interface directly with the Corrado CE2 fusebox using OEM-style connectors:
- No cutting or modification of the factory loom
- Clean integration with ignition, power supply, and vehicle systems
- Factory-style installation and reversibility
CAN Convertor RPM Integration
A dedicated CAN-based module is used to translate modern ECU data into usable analog signals:
- Tachometer signal output (stable, calibrated RPM signal)
- Coolant temperature output for factory cluster
- Reliable real-time CAN data processing
End Result
- Fully operational 2.0 TFSI AXX engine on OEM ECU
- Plug & play CE2 integration with no loom modifications
- Functional factory cluster (RPM + coolant temp)
- Full OBD diagnostics support
- Clean OEM-style engine bay and wiring layout
