C op yiThe Golf SV - sporty, dynamic, innovative technologyS536_002The body of the Golf SV has been completely re-engineered and is now significantly more sporty in appearance AG. Volkswagen AG d agen o s ksw is largely thanks to thee not l than its predecessor, the Golf Plus. This elongated length, the increased wheelbase, the long o gu yV b ara d e window areas on the side profiles and the distinctive character lines. The nte Golf SV is also based on the modular ris eo tho u ra transverse matrix, which enables such dynamic proportions. c sa The drives have been completely redesigned and at market launch all engines fulfil the EU6 emission standard. The new engines are equipped with a start-stop system as standard. Further technical improvements across all assembly groups mean a decrease in fuel consumption of up to 20% compared to its predecessor, the Golf Plus. For the first time, the Golf SV features the Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert. The system detects traffic approaching from behind to the side of the vehicle and gives a warning via an acoustic signal. Other innovative driver assistance systems which are implemented in the Golf SV include a multicollision brake fitted as standard, the adaptive chassis control DCC and the area monitoring system Front Assist with City Emergency Brake. Other systems from the Golf family can be optionally installed. As part of the “DYNAUDIO Excite” sound system, there is a centre loudspeaker in the upper part of the dash panel for the first time. The radio navigation system generation is in line with the modular infotainment matrix (MIB). CarNet features, such as the Google Earth™ maps service, Google Street View™, online traffic information and online points of interest, can be used interactively. Information on the new technology can be found within this Self-study Programme.AG.ht rig py Co t.thi sd o cu m enes, in part or in w l purpos hole ercia , is n m m ot p o c erm or e t a itte iv r du rp o nl f e ngsility ab y li an pt cerrectness of i t to the co nf o r m spec atio h re n in witThe Self-study Programme shows the design and function of new developments. There is a difference between a front or rear radiator position. Due to space requirements, the front radiator module is installed in the case of larger engines and when increased cooling output is required for hot countries or for trailer mode. The Golf SV BlueMotion has a radiator blind built in between the bumper cover and the radiator module. Due to space requirements, vehicles with an ACC sensor (sensor for adaptive cruise control) do not have a radiator blind built in. The radiator blind is bolted to a special impact bar for installation. The radiator blind for the Golf SV BlueMotion is built into the front radiator module.
